Currently Available Birds

*Breeding season typically runs March through September. We can take deposits for specific species to get a baby just for you, but we do want to meet in person beforehand to go over the process.

Yellow-Naped Amazon

$4,500

Amazon parrots are very intelligent and usually very good at speaking. They make good companions for those looking for a smart silly friend who will need engagement to keep them mentally stimulated as they are very smart! Once they accept you as their person(s) they will be comfortable with hanging out on your shoulder and stepping up but aren’t necessarily looking for the physical affection conures, macaws, or cockatoos would.

Male Eclectus

$4,500

Eclectuses are very sweet and quiet compared to other parrot species. They make for great companions for those looking for a calm and sweet friend. They are usually less active and reactive than other species, but are definitely curious and friendly with those who put in the time to care for them.

Green Cheek Conures:

Normal: $800

Yellow Sided: $850

Pineapple: $850

Cinnamon: $850

 Turquoise: $900

Turquoise Pineapple: $950

Suncheek: $1,000

*Availability varies for each color mutation, rarer mutations e.g. moon cheek, sun cheek, high-red variants can be requested. Green cheeks are the direction we point those interested in physical affection, cuddling, scritching, petting, but quieter and more feasible for those living in an apartment.

Sun Conures: $1400

Sun conures are LOUD. We don’t recommend them for those who are bothered by noise. They are also very very cuddly and sweet velcro birds who will want to be with you and are even more hands on than the smaller Pyrrhura-family conures.

Caiques

Black-Headed and White-Bellied – $3300

Caiques are kind of their own thing. They’re very active and playful silly birds who are always bringing a positive energy. Many of the best silly parrot videos are caiques hopping or “surfing”, a unique behavior of rubbing against hair or towel-like surfaces, especially when wet. Caiques are very hands on and quick to accept new people as safe to get on and interact physically with. They tend to be a little more independent than conures: where a conure might cuddle, a caique will want to play and get the energy out first.

Cockatiels

Lutino – $650

Lutino Pearl/Pied/Cinnamon – $700

Albino/White-faced – $800

*We get new baby cockatiels 3-4 times a year and can take deposits at any time to reserve a baby. We usually get lutinos, pearls/pieds, cinnamons, white-faces, and albinos. The prices currently range from $650-$800.

Maximilian Pionus

$4,500

Maximilian Pionuses are less common than the Blue Headed Pionus and White winged that we see more commonly. The personality range across most pionuses is very similar: calm, quiet, and reserved. They take time to trust but are even-keeled and relaxed as pets.

Species we carry not currently in stock:

We can take deposits to reserve a baby of a specified species for you. After we get a deposit, we will work to get a baby and they will usually come in at about 1 month old. We will continue to hand-feed in the store until the baby weans. During that time, we encourage visits as often as possible. We recommend this option for larger birds or less common species. The breeding season usually runs from March through October, but timing for specific species is different every year.

It’s important to understand that there are a lot of scams online for parrots, especially for African Greys and Macaws. If you see prices online significantly lower than the ranges below, it is most likely a scam.

For any of these species, or any not listed, please contact us through facebook, email us at [email protected], or come in to discuss!

** As of 2024 we will not be getting ringnecks, as PBFD has been prevalent in the breeding populations in the US. This is to protect our birds

About African Greys:

We get many inquiries about African Greys. We can get Congo or Timneh African Grey babies but they are expensive due to high demand and low supply. Congos are currently around $8,000. Due to their high price and the care needed in raising them we will only get a Grey baby after a deposit is placed.
It is worth noting that we hear from people every week or so about being scammed in their attempt to get a grey. There are a lot of parrot scams online, especially for greys and macaws, so prices you see online do not reflect the real prices. In general, it is a good practice to not send money without seeing a bird in person.

Species we do not carry:

Currently we are not carrying members of the ringneck family out of precaution over PBFD concerns (Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease)

We do not carry budgies. Many of the chain pet stores have used poor breeding sources that have made the species more prone to disease which could put our birds at risk. There are good budgies out there and they can be great pets but make sure you only buy parrots from responsible sources.

We also do not carry Lories or Lorikeets. These birds need special baby formula and diet.

Finally, we do not carry non-parrot species like canaries, finches, songbirds, pigeons, hummingbirds, toucans, or any kind of non-bird species like reptiles or fish.
