At Denise’s Parrot Place, we offer personal and individualized Parrot Boarding and Grooming in our private facility: our separate and secure, licensed, and insured boarding facility is next door to our retail shop but not open to the general public for the safety of your bird. Boarding includes use of our quality/sanitized cages, a healthy daily diet consisting of cooked Denise’s Bean Mix in the morning and a healthy pellet blend in the afternoon. Owner’s own specialty diets are also accommodated, along with medication administration (if cleared with us in advance). 

At our Boarding Facility we provide lots of love and care for each individual bird during their stay with us. We have full spectrum lighting, a safe and sanitary environment, music throughout the day, and the comforting knowledge that all birds accepted for boarding must pass an Avian Veterinarian physical exam, requirements consisting of annual exam protocol, avian blood panel and oral/fecal cultures. In addition, our facility is run by a competent staff of quality and caring avian backgrounds; we also have a 24-hour commercially monitored security alarm system and backup generator electrical service. 

Our Bird Boarding and Grooming Facility has been in operation since 2001 and we will happily provide references to any client. We are widely recognized in the veterinary avian community as the premier place to provide the loving care your bird deserves when you need boarding services.

Before boarding for the first time please arrange with your avian vet to send us veterinary records with a blood panel and fecal culture screenings. Local vets will have our contact but records can be sent to our email at [email protected]
