Important Policies to Know:

• We require at least three visits before taking home one of our birds. Parrots are long lived companions and we want to discourage spontaneous purchases and ensure the parrots are comfortable with you before going home with them. Exceptions can be made with prior approval from us for those coming from far away for a specific bird. That said 3 visits is a minimum and for certain species like Ringnecks or the larger species like Macaws and Cockatoos we definitely encourage more visits if possible as they may take more time to get comfortable with you or be an even bigger commitment as the larger species will be a lifelong companion. 
• We generally will encourage and provide discounts for customers getting both a parrot and cage through us. We sell high quality cages that will last the lifetime of your parrot and can provide guidance on the appropriate size and bar spacing. 
• We wean our birds onto a healthy diet of a cooked bean mix in the morning and a pellet mix in the afternoon. We do require you to buy the same mix if you are taking one of our parrots in the store home so they have continuation with the diet in the new environment. We encourage you to keep them on the same or similar diet as it is much healthier than a seed based diet. 
• We are committed to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for all, irrespective of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, ability, or background. If we believe you are acting with disrespect towards our birds, our staff, or other customers at our store we will ask you to leave.
